About Me: I live in Japan and do MA. That's about it really.

Experience: Did some TKD as a kid then moved to karate in 1999. Moved back to TKD at university and started TKD again where I trained to black belt. Then I moved to Japan and have been hopping around JMA with karate as my core. Graded to black belt in Wado Ryu a 2008 and in 2009 I was recognized as a black belt by the Zen Nippon Karate Do Renmei (JKF: Wado, Goju, Shotokan and Shito styles). I am also a shodan in Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei Iaido. In August 2011 I moved house and in September I joined a martial arts organization called the Yushinkai that practices Kyokushin rules full contact karate and Hagihara Ryu commando sambo. I'm now a blue belt at the Yushinkai and am licenced to teach basic ground fighting, reversal techniques and dogi chokes.

Hya Entropy!(Tony!) Decker dude here! I have been, as so many have been,
interested in the posts on here, directed at the (Australian?) GKR mob, and
their 'unlikely' links to REAL Karate, and in particular, their gradings. I
thought you would like to know that i came across a youtube video a week or
so ago--its called ''Training in Japan-(GKR)''-and it doesn't look like the
shower that i seen on intermartialarts.com, that was posted, the one we all
saw. I wondered if you could take a look at it and decide if it is in fact
the 'shower' that was posted originally, OR if in fact these guys are a
different club in no way affiliated to 'the shower'. These guys went to the
JKA headquarters to train, something i do not think the 'shower' would
entertain at all--TOO MUCH like hard work methinks!! I would very much like
your views on this, thank you very much, decker dude!
