As part of the ITF Taekwondo Yellow Stripe - 9th kup grading syllabus, you will be exepect to know the following criteria.

*Please note the criteria below assumes you are currently at this belt level progressing for the next belt.*

This belt signifies earth, from which a plant sprouts and takes root as the Taekon-Do foundation is laid.

Kata/Patterns
You will be expected to perform Chon Ji - click for full video tutorial

You will also be expected to know the definiation of Chon Ji:
Chon-Ji literally means heaven and earth. In the orient it is interpreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history, therefore it is the initial pattern played by the beginner. The pattern consists of two similar parts, one to represent heaven and the other to represent the earth.

Front Rising Kick Exercise x 10, counted in Korean
Press Ups x 20, counted in Korean
Walking Stance - Middle Block, Reverse Punch x 4, counted in Korean
Walking Stance - Low Block, Rising Block x 4, counted in Korean
3 Step Sparring - Numbers 1 and 2
