Introduction to Kuk Sool
The traditional Korean style of Kuk Sool is built around a range of martial arts styles. Despite this Kuk Sool has it's own unique characteristics which includes low stances and fluid movements. The style also incorporates joint locks, hand strikes, grappling, throwing and pressure points. For this reason, the style is often described by martial artists as being both a hard and soft style.
More advanced practioners of Kuk Sool will learn weaponry including the sword, staff, nunchuka, cane and fan.
