If we live in the "Now" the past and future will no longer exist!
In a martial situation one must be totally in the moment especially if a duel with a sword, one slight drift away to either the past or future will cost him his life. The only time we actually exist is now, the future has not yet happened and the past has gone.:)

Clouddragon, thanks for putting this in perspective. It's like saying, live every moment as if it were your last, yesterday is gone-tomorrow is not promised. I've heard it put that way and understand it.
