What does Sil Lim Tao mean?

Anyone care to tell me what this phrase actually means? I know what it is because ive seen the video and read up on it (a form of wing chun) but why is it called this and what exactly does it mean? I'm guessing its mandarin chinese right?

its more commonly called Siu Nim Tao and it means 'little idea'.

its a strange name to call an empty hand form, as to why its called that......

errrrr I have, well let me put it this way, very 'little idea' why.

When you start training you have Little Idea So this is where your journey begins , with training in the basic Goat Stance and all basic hand defence and attacks.
