I found about this thing a few days ago

Apparently is a knife with a 22 cal gun built inside. I think this will be interesting for many people especially the ones into knife fighting or philipino martial arts. It opens a new world of possibilities.

the russian military have bene using the same thing for decades. nothing new. Chinese military have a version as well.

The chinese one fired a .22LR from the top of the handle (to one side of the blade)

Is it a single round or can it fire more than that?

IIRC the chinese version could fire more than 1 round. Best to look at your local library for a copy of Jane's Infantry Weapons (1996 onwards) for more detailed information.
