Anyone who has trained in krav maga will know the standard krav maga knife defense, using the forearm to stop the thrust of attack, before a quick strike and then moving in fast to obtain as much control as you can over the attacker.
The problem I have with this standard krav maga knife defense is that I cant get off line of the knife attack in accordancce with the whole KV theory. Does anyone else have a view on this, or any advice? |

You really have to shoot forward fast with a burst of energy to intercept the knife attack, it is an extremely difficult task to master in my opinion because you are throwing yourself towards your attacker. This movement is necessary but certainly not natural.
