Hello
Hi,
I'm Martin, though most people call me Oz. I'm the Chief Instructor of the English Martial Arts Academy, we teach an entirely English Martial Art drawn from a variety of sources. It includes striking, grappling and joint locks as well as a variety of weapons. We currently have two clubs and run seminars across the country (UK).
I'm looking forward to getting involved in this community.

Hi Martin, it's a pleasure to have you here as a member on InterMartialArts.com, I hope I (as well as our current and future members) can learn a lot from you regarding English martial arts.

Hi Ashley,
Thanks for the welcome, I'm happy to spread the word about English Martial Arts as much as I can. I suspect I'll be learning more than I pass on. I firmly believe in cross training and learning from each other.
Take care

Hi Oz be good to learn a little about English Martial arts, we are all so busy learning the Eastern ways of combat that we never stop to think about English fighting. Do you have video footage? Guess I always think of English combat as boxing. Did help organise a workshop in Nottingham that involved medieval swordsmanship and English weapons work. It seemed so alien to me after years of Chinese swordsmanship but was interesting as involved grappling and close quarters work making full use of both body and weapon.

Hi Clouddragon,
I don't have much footage but I'm hoping to rectify that over the coming few weeks. There are a few short promo vids for events up on youtube that you can see here YouTube - EnglishMartialArts's Channel
As soon as I get something that is actually worth watching I will upload it here.
