I was thinking abot getting a wodden dummy for Hung Gar kung fu, I can only get what the shop around here describes as a 'wing chun' wooden dummy.
Is this the same thing? |

There IS a difference, so be careful.
The Hung Gar ones that you want have larger spaces between the arms. However some schools of hung gar have used wing chun wooden dummies and vice versa. But if you want to do things properly, make sure you buy the right ones. They are nt cheap after all. |

You can get a Hung Gar dummy from Great Lion Company in the USA.
I got the Hung Gar dummy to help train my Baguazhang as the Wing Chun configuration is too small. Wooden Dummy from Great Lion Company for Wing Chun Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do, Mantis and More Enjoy! |
