without doubt a willing training partner........otherwise a medicine ball, heavy bag, and a wooden log are the things I use the most.

The best training tool is a good uki. Give me someone who is willing to be locked, knows how to fall and is willing to spar and I'm happy.

Space - the environment in which I can move freely without having to step back a bit to fit in a form.... where the ground is even enough not to interfere... where I can practice without needing to think much about others.

Time - glorious wonderful free time without distraction and external demands.

Give me those two things (or just the second if you must) and I can find some useful practice / training to do.

No worries Ash, we are all "tools"! Hehehe..
Agreed on everyones comments actually. Our bodies, our minds, actual bags and dumbells etc. all great tools.

My best or favourite would have to be my hanging bag!! I can train blocks, kicks, strikes, punches and even kumite against it and "it" doesn't get hurt or angry or talk back, hehehe!!!
Secondly I love to train body without any training aids..

Spot on RP, how could i not think of that; everything else is secondary to that. some will say if it is important you will 'make' time, and this is to a degree true...but there is a limit to how much i can do without sleep, and night time is the only 'free time' i can take from.
