Default working out with a punch bag

I have just gone and got myself a brand new punch bag and was wondering if anyone has any routines they normally do for both muscle toning and fat loss?

Do a light warm up first and then do 2 min rounds of punching and kicking combinations.

Do 5 two minute rounds of punches

Then 5 two minute rounds of kicks

Then, if you still have energy left, try do another 5 rounds of kicking and punching combo's.

Make sure you keep moving too. Start with 30 second breaks between sets, try not rest longer then a minute.

Its tough and you maynot be able to do the full 15 sets. Even start off with 3 sets of each and gradually build it up.

I do these two pyramids and I have found them to very effective.

    1) Punching:
    Jab-Cross do 40 times
    Jab-Cross-Hook-Cross 20 times
    Jab-Cross-Hook-Cross-right uppercut-left uppercut 10 times
    then 5 superman punches

    2) Kicking
20 single kicks on each leg
18 double kicks on each leg
16 triple kicks on each leg
14 quadruple kicks on each leg
10 five kicks on each leg

You may have to build it up. Go has hard as you can and if you get tired just go slowing but don't stop. And if you have to throw up do so but then keep going.

It comes to about 225 punches and 420 kicks. I find this very good as a warm up before technique work or a good way to finish up a training session

Hey nice to listen about you.I used to do it for muscle toning. It's a very good exercise for muscle toning and also to be fit and fine. With the help of punch bag, weight loss process becomes slow rather than running, swimming etc.
