Pigua Zhang
Not Bajiquan, but it's half-sister art, Pigua Zhang.
The saying goes that when Baji & Pigua are combined, the gods themselves will fear you.

Whenever I see "guan" in a style what is the history of the word, does it have its character just curious
-
-
Hi Tim, do you mean Quan, or Gua?
The word Quan translates to 'Fist' and usually denotes a fighting style, like Taiji Quan - Taiji Fist, Baji Quan - Baji Fist and so on. Some arts have the word Zhang instead of Quan, such as Bagua Zhang and Pigua Zhang. Zhang refers to the palm, as opposed to the fist.

Ah, right.
Yes, Hsing I/Xing Yi's core training method is the '5 Element Fists': Beng Quan (crushing fist), Pi Quan (splitting fist), Zuan Quan (drilling fist), Pao Quan (pounding fist) and Heng Quan (crossing fist).
