Firstly, it is worth mentioning that the term Aikidoka (合気道家) is extremely rare to hear among the natives Japan even though it is popularly spoken of in the west. It is used with regards to the Martial Arts style of Aikido.
Aikidoka is defined as a highly respected practitioner of the Japanese Martial Art style of Aikido.

In the language of Japanese, the suffix ka (家, -ka), can be added as a post fix to activities such as Aikido, and when done so it refers to a professional in that field. As a result, the meaning of this term to a native Japanese, particularly when the activity is Martial Arts, gives a meaning of someone who is accomplished and highly respected. Further, because of the connotation of respect, this is a term one would never use with regard to oneself, even if deserved.
